Julia and I have recently joined a group of fellow naturalists and speakers who operate as Ocean Wildlife Encounters, providing wildlife lectures and onboard wildlife watching sessions on Cruise Liners. We have just returned from our first cruise with friends Jeff Clarke and Laura Dennis. Our trip around the UK, with visits to Guernsey, St Mary's on the Isles of Scilly, Belfast, Stornaway and Orkney, with a final stop at Inverdruie, was filled with seabirds and cetaceans. Five species of shearwater, Fulmar, European Storm Pertrel, four species of skua, Sabine's Gull, Kittiwakes and Gannets. Cetaceans included over 1200 Common Dolphin, Minke Whales and Common Porpoise. Follow this link for the full blog Balearics and Baskers (oceanwildlifeencounters.co.uk), which also contains more images.
